Harietta Eleftherochorinou

Harietta is the vice president and head of the Innovation Ventures at IQVIA, an S&P 500 company with operations in over 100 countries and ~80,000 employees. She leads portfolio of investments, corporate innovation and strategic partnerships for IQVIA, connecting capital and capabilities into novel ventures that transform healthcare and ultimately patient care. She is an AI pioneer with 18 years of experience in the AI, data and technology field and twice successful general manager of businesses she grew from the ground up within global matrix corporations focusing on AI molecular diagnostics, AI patient journey and more.

Her work has been recognised with multiple awards, including the Top 25 Women Leaders in UK Healthcare (2019) award as an AI Pioneer, the Deloitte Outstanding Achievement for Client Service (2018), the UK Cloud Award of the Year (2016) on Innovation in Analytics, Honorary Fellowship of Imperial College London (2014) and prestigious European Union and Wellcome Trust funding for research on genomics (2007-2014).

Building on multi-disciplinary – technology, medical and commercial- expertise, she is a trusted advisor to the world’s large pharma and healthcare clients. Committed to diversity, ethos and inclusion, she is invited to several forums as a Women in STEM ambassador and inspiring, thought-provoking presenter. She holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, an MSc in Bioinformatics & Systems Biology (Dist.) and a PhD in Medicine from Imperial College. Harietta has published multiple scientific papers in world class, peer reviewed scientific journals.
